Testimonials
-
"Selling a house and moving after 40 years is very difficult but you certainly made it as painless as possible." –Barbara R.
-
"Many thanks for all the "little extras" you did for us in our absence, to help things move more quickly. Your persistence and effort to help us get the largest possible (and feasible) price for our property are most appreciated." –Doug H.
-
"How grateful we are for your wonderful, generous help through a long process. Without your many months of patient work we would never have been able to act decisively in the very short amount of time available when this house came on the market. Thank you so much for your indispensable role." –Kenneth H.
-
"We are enjoying our first fire tonight and it is transforming the house, even as I write. The girls are sprawled on the sofa, reading, like this is an old scene. Well, I guess it is. Thank you for so many gestures of kindness and friendship, not to mention professional help, that you rendered our family over the last four plus years." –Jacqueline L.
-
"Your expertise in real estate is clearly evident. You did more than I ever anticipated from a Realtor, giving me sound advice, from the correct market value of the house, to suggestions, to market the house successfully. From start to finish you made it very easy. I did not have much to do once you took over." –Julie C.
-
"We appreciate your patience when we were nervous and your guidance when we were confused." –Trevor & Sharon
-
"Perhaps your strongest attribute was your ability to understand our situation. To this extent you were alert to the importance of keeping the necessary actors informed and skillful in keeping, lawyers, bankers, vendors, and prospective buyers "on schedule" until the closing date." –Miles B.

Lester E Savage III is the Only Choice!
Lester E Savage Real Estate was founded in 1963 by Lester and Nancy Savage. At the time, Lester Sr. had been working as a real estate broker in Lexington for 10 years, earning a reputation for honesty, knowledge and hustle. In 1983, I (Lester E. Savage III) joined the firm and have enjoyed building on the success of my parents, while also maintaining a strong, independent reputation within the community. In 2019, I merged my business into Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Commonwealth Real Estate. This change has allowed me to expand the services I can offer, increase the time I have to spend with my clients and expand my reach in the marketplace.
My sales philosophy has remained the same through the years: Provide in-depth knowledge and experience of the marketplace for our clients so that they can make independent, fully informed decisions when buying, selling, or leasing property. This way the client feels comfortable throughout the process of buying and/or selling. We avoid pushy behavior, instead presenting the consumer with all available options and letting them make the decision that suits them best.
Throughout the years I’ve remained highly competitive in this busy market because of my local knowledge, significant involvement within the community and my efforts to go above and beyond for my clients. My goal is to provide you with exceptionally high-quality service, in a no pressure atmosphere, that is on par with the care that I would personally hope to receive.

Lexington is waiting for you to call it home!
Originally a part of Cambridge Farms, Lexington was incorporated in 1713. The town is best known for the events which took place on Lexington Green the morning of April 19, 1775. Because of this, Lexington has been called “The Birthplace of Liberty”. Obviously, a great deal has changed since that time, but both consciously and unconsciously the community still respects the events of that day and the ongoing significance of those events.Lexington is an amazing town on the east coast of Massachusetts just 16.2 miles from downtown Boston. The community offers an abundance of services and natural beauty: approximately 20% of its land has been set aside as conservation or recreation spaces; a top-notch school system; a vibrant downtown with a boutique movie theater, Cary Hall performance venue, shops and restaurants, Cary Memorial Library, wonderful town recreation areas/ facilities including a public golf course, pool complex, town beach, lit tennis courts and The Hayden Recreation center (ice rink and indoor pool complex), a community farm (LexFarm) and the award-winning Minuteman Bikeway. There are also numerous strong community organizations formed to improve the community’s quality of life, such as: Monroe Center for the Arts, Chinese American Association of Lexington, Cary Lecture Series, Lexington Historical Society, Indian American Association of Lexington, Lexington Chamber of Commerce, Lexington Field and Garden Club, Association of Black Citizens of Lexington, Lexington Symphony and The Lexington Pops.
In many ways, Lexington holds itself to a higher standard because of its past. We have a high quality of life due to good planning, a strong infrastructure, and an expectation of excellence. This is evidenced by our schools which are consistently in the top ten in the state and have gained a national reputation for excellence. Lexington High School has been ranked as ‘one of the best high schools in the nation’ by Newsweek numerous times.
Not to be overlooked are the benefits of our location. Lexington sits along the well-known Interstate 95 and Route 2 and is convenient to Route 3. It is a great commuter location for heading into the city or weekend trips to explore other parts of the state.
